Tyranny of Oil: The World's Most Powerful Industry--And What We Must Do To Stop It
Antonia Juhasz talks about her recent book. "The Tyranny of Oil" describes the Reagan Administration's setup for the dismantling of anti-trust legislation, how the Clinton Administration let the so-called "Enron loophole" slip through, and how the Clinton and George W. Bush Administrations allowed thousands of oil company mergers. Ms. Juhasz will give us a picture of what we can expect from the Obama Administration, with regard to foreign and domestic policy with regard to the oil industry.
Antonia Juhasz is a policy-analyst, author and activist living in San Francisco. She is a Fellow at Oil Change International and Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Policy Studies. She has taught at the New College of California in the Activism and Social Change Masters Program.
